Client: Electrical Engineering Company
Business Challenge: Select and provide creative gifts for this client’s 100 top dealers who were being rewarded with a Mediterranean Cruise. The gifts would be distributed each evening. The client wanted creative and unique items that were thematic of the next day’s port stop.
ID Solution: We sourced items throughout the Mediterranean to provide a unique remembrance of the trip. We worked with an olive vineyard in Spain, a local pottery artist in Portugal, a leather craftsman and a vineyard in Italy, and a watercolor artist in France to provide amenities.
Prior to the trip the client was presented samples of each item to ensure they met expectations for quality and creativity. We shipped all items directly to Barcelona where the cruise ship was embarking, as they needed to clear security two weeks in advance.
Result: The attendees received a unique nightly gift that left a lasting impression and was representative of each day’s destination. The client was happy to save on shipping costs and avoid international rates as none of the items were shipped from the United States.
